I can confirm that Essex County Council does not hold this information.

 

Question 1 - Highways customer service and Essex County council has confirmed that the Automatic Traffic Counter (two rubber tubes) placed outside CO15 4BU / Howard Vyse Court in 2022 / 2023 was deployed by a third party. Under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, please provide the company name, applicant name, or contractor who was granted the temporary highway licence or permit for this equipment at this location in 2022./2023

 

As confirmed in our previous response under reference number ECC20995624 08 26.

 

Third-party organisations are not required to obtain a licence from Essex County Council to install traffic survey equipment in Essex. We therefore do not hold a record of any count being conducted at this location in 2022 or 2023.

 

A permit is not required for this activity and as such we have no recorded information regarding an applicant or contractor.
