Location: Approaching Rayleigh Weir, immediately before/at the beginning of the temporary coned single-lane section, prior to the Rayleigh Weir underpass.
Question 1 - We write in relation to a road traffic incident that occurred on 29/08/2026 at approximately 12:50am, as detailed above. We have been advised that you may hold CCTV footage that captured the incident.
If such footage is available, we would be grateful if you could retain it pending our investigations and advise us of the process for obtaining a copy. The footage may assist us in identifying the vehicle responsible for the accident, which failed to stop at the scene.
