I can confirm that Essex County Council does not hold this information.
We are acting for our client in relation to a serious road traffic accident that occurred on Galleys Corner roundabout, Braintree, Essex on 18th July 2026 at approximately 4pm.
Question 1 - We are writing to enquire whether the council holds any traffic cameras or footage covering this roundabout. We would be grateful if you could confirm if footage is held and advise us on your procedure to make such requests.
As shown online at Traffic Cameras and Car Parks | Essex County Council (essexhighways.org), our traffic monitoring cameras are for traffic monitoring purposes only and are not recorded, we are unable to supply footage to assist with accident claims.
