I can confirm that Essex County Council does not hold this information.

Question 1 - The number of penalty charge notices for parking violations (with the particular type of violation specified e.g. parking on a single yellow line) issued by the Council for each of the following financial years (6 April - 5 April): 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, 2045/25, 2025/26.

Question 2 - How much penalty charge notices issued during the financial years (6 April - 5 April): 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, 2045/25, 2025/26 generated in pounds for the Council.

Question 3 - The highest number of penalty charge notices issued to a single number plate in the most recent financial year (6 April - 5 April, 2025/26).

I would like the data in the format of an excel spreadsheet.

Essex County Council has devolved powers as the traffic authority to two lead Councils in Essex for the enforcement of on-street parking. Please contact the Parking Partnerships who may be able to assist.

Car parks at County Parks are also the responsibility of the Parking Partnership.

The provision and enforcement of off-street parking is the responsibility of the local Borough, City or District councils in Essex, as are ouncil owned or council operated car parks. Here are the contact details of all councils in Essex: Contact your local council | Essex County Council
